East-Timor Goulala Coffee
East-Timor is relatively unknown as coffee country, but the history of East-Timorese coffee goes back to the 18th century, when the Portuguese brought coffee beans to this small island.
Processing process: The farmers harvest coffee cherries in the morning and process them the same day. After fermentation and a washing process, the coffee beans are dried in the sun. This results in high quality coffee with a very smooth taste, a long finish and tones of caramel. A spoonful of sugar is definitely not needed!
Brazilië: Brasil Yellow Bourbon
The Yellow Bourbon is a special variety where the coffee cherry is not red, but yellow. The beans are semi-washed, which produces a sweeter and mocha-like taste.
Origin: Cerrado Mineiro, Brazilië
Altitude: 800 - 1300 meter
Tasting notes: Chocolate, stone fruits, blueberries, orange
Cupping score: 84,25
The federation of coffee growers Cerrado strives for sustainable coffee that is grown socially, fairly and economically responsibly
Peru: Peru-India Blend & Peru
Our delicate Peru-India blend combines a Robusta bean with bite and an excellent aroma with the floral Peru Arabica bean, which offers flavor notes of caramel, cinnamon and cedarwood.
Peru, Zachte Koffie: These Arabica coffee beans grow at an altitude between 1200 and 1350 meters above sea level. Because the coffee plant grows in shade, the bean ripens slower and gets this special flavor. The coffee has a soft, floral aroma with tones of caramel, cinnamon and cedarwood.
Every batch that I roast is an ode to the carefully selected beans, the precision of the roasting process and the art of perfecting flavors.
