Ama Supernatural Geisha – Carmo de Minas, Brazil – Microlot Specialty Coffee
Discover the rare and expressive Ama Supernatural Geisha: a true pearl from Brazil, exclusively from Ama Estate in Carmo de Minas.
This microlot is the result of a unique collaboration between top producer Luiz Paulo Dias Pereira Filho (CarmoCoffees) and World Barista Champion Sasa Sestic. The Ama Supernatural Geisha is hand-picked at 1100–1300 meters altitude, from geisha plants renowned for their exceptional flavor complexity. Thanks to the innovative ‘supernatural’ process, you’ll experience unparalleled intensity and aromatic richness.
Tasting notes:
Oolong tea, stone fruit, mango, peach, tropical fruit, lemongrass, earl grey, berries, red apple, cherry, vanilla, sweet and delicate.
Process:
Supernatural – ripe cherries are carefully selected by Brix value, rinsed, sorted, and then placed in thick layers on African drying beds. The first days, the cherries are covered, then further dried to the perfect moisture content. This process brings out the fruity, floral, and tea-like notes of the geisha variety.
